Jenn Spadafora

Jenn is a dedicated public servant, parent, and community advocate who has built her career around standing up for Malden residents and making local government more transparent and accessible. As a current member of the School Committee, Jenn has worked to ensure families have a voice in decisions that directly impact their children and their future. She is known for asking thoughtful, tough questions, pushing for clear communication, and advocating for accountability at every level of government. 

During her time on the School Committee, Jenn has focused on strengthening communication between city leadership and residents, improving access to information, and making sure taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly. She has been a consistent voice for families, working to support students, educators, and the broader community while navigating complex challenges facing the city. Her leadership style is rooted in listening first, bringing people together, and making informed, transparent decisions.

Jenn is running for Mayor because she believes Malden deserves leadership that is present, honest, and responsive. She has heard directly from residents who feel disconnected from City Hall and frustrated by a lack of clarity around key decisions. Jenn is committed to changing that by building a culture of openness, collaboration, and trust. Her campaign is focused on uniting the community, strengthening fiscal responsibility, and ensuring every resident feels informed, respected, and heard. 

Above all, Jenn believes that local government should work for the people it serves. She is ready to lead with integrity, accountability, and a deep commitment to the community she calls home.
